I have had a cheap Rogue A model mandolin for just over a year or so. It was difficult to play so I finally saved up enough plastic to buy a new mandolin. I had ordered a Morgan Monroe MDM-1 model from folkmusician.com but when I received it the finish was all messed up at the neck joint so I sent it back. Now I'm just waiting to receive my new The Loar 600 model, which should be here anytime soon!

Excellent. You will like it a lot, I'm sure. I know I sure love my Loar LM-400!
