An old timey fiddle tune also known as "Soldier's Hornpipe" and "Payday in the Army". Some say that “Soldier’s Joy” was a name given to the tune by American civil war soldiers who nicknamed their morphine “soldier’s joy.” Played at the Canterbury Jam April 19th, 2011
