I have found myself in need of downsizing my herd of mandolins, so I just put my Stelling mando on consignment at Elderly Instruments. Should show up on their site shortly. It is one of the Stelling "A" models, though it is not labelled such. Often called a "2 point" but there are no points per se. It has two roundd shoulders where the points would be. The result is a baody cavity much larger than a Gibson A style. It is an early one, serial number 015, and I just had it brought up to snuff by Joe Konkoly, the head of the Elderly repair department, and old friend.
Joe levelled and re-crowned the frets and adjusted the action. Also reglued a brace inside. I have owned this one since the early 90's., It has the original hard shell case. The bridge is a Siminoff -- I assume it is original. A very nice mandolin. A beauty to behold, if rather unique to those accustumed to only the Gibson school of design. Kim Breedlove designed it and made about 60 or so for the Stelling banjo company, which has since made some F-style mandolins from time to time.
I wanted anybody who has been looking for this rather rare Stelling Breedlove mandolin to know that there is one out there for sale. I am NOT selling this direct. But if anyone is thinking about buying it at Elderly I can answer questions.

Samsung is one of the best company in the world but there ae some short comings as well and they should overcome it and recently their reputation got less because of some cleangrillsofgilbert.com but I think they can pull it off and can gain the trust of their customer again.
