Well it finally happened, got snowed in. I'm stuck at home with my fiddles, mando and guitars and I'll have to miss work. (damned the luck) Worst part is I only have one 30 pack to make it untill the thaw. That should happen tomorrow. Maybe try some new tunes, hope I can make it til the thaw!

How's that 30 pack doing? I got laid off on Wednesday so I've been practicing a ton, in between spending time with the wifey and the lil one :) But I think I've got to go back to work on Tuesday, so I've still got a few days left to get some practicing in. This whole work thing really cuts into my practicing!

Hey Andrew, It lasted throught the thaw! Work does get in the way. I used to think I could retire someday but that's looking like it will be hard to do.

I don't even want to start to think about retirement, I've got too many years left to work :( Unless, of course, my music career takes off!!! Hey, it never hurts to dream, right?

I ran the roads for about 8 yrs. playing music. I had a whole lot of fun but I never could have supported a family. (good thing I did'nt have one)
I kept hoping my music career would take off, Got close a couple of times but now I'm content to play the local clubs in my area. Thirty five years of playing electric bass has taken it's toll on my hands, can't do 3 to 4 hours a night anymore. Guess my "discovery will have to wait till the next life!
