Wakefield's The Kitchen Tapes is everything I want from Bluegrass and I find myself returning to it over the years. I've worked out most of the challenging mandolin parts, but am struggling (stuck?) on 'Hey Mr. Mando.' Apparently they were so busy crushing it they tuned to each other half a step high, making Frank's face-melting mandolin parts all the more tedious to put down on paper. I'm pretty confident in what I have so far, but it's stumping me and I'd love to see someone else's interpretation to compare with or complete my own tab transcription.
If anyone has transcribed this beautiful bluegrass instrumental, worked out parts, or has any interest in trying please let me know.
Thanks!
