Hey, greetings from Ireland, Mystical home to many Mandolin freaks ..........all shapes and sizes. Every time I pick up my F-5 Style Vanden Mandolin, I know I am a small part of a World-wide community of folks who glory in the music of these diminutive instruments, and It's great to be able to rach out through Mandohangout to all you fellow travellers.
I work almost exclusively on original material, hopefully in my own style, but heavily influenced by the Master, Bill Monroe. I am hoping that my next CD will include at least two pieces devoted to Bill's memory, especially in this year, the Centenery of his birth in 1911.
