Born Baptist, Cajun by marriage, grew up on Southern Gospel, AM Country and Pop. I was turned onto Robert Johnson, Django Reinhardt and the Clash in one night. Spent 20 odd years playing professionally, spent 17 years fronting a Swing/Blues band called Pretty Boy Freud. I retired to teach school and spend my down time actually playing for the fun of it. I bought an upright bass for my wife and we play together a lot. I've got a huge crop of younguns, 2 fiddlers (what makes Dad holler? Haaaaaw!), one of them and another play guitar and one plays piano. I think there's a family band in our future.
