Retired Navy, Artist, Wood Carver/Worker. Beginning Clawhammer after playing 3 finger many years ago. My index and middle finger were damaged during Surgery recovery a few years back and don't work as well as they use to. Thought Clawhammer would be just the thing to help pick up the banjo again. I made a mandolin several years ago and decided to make another in 2009 while recovering from a serious illness. Now trying to learn to play the mandolin as well as clawhammer banjo and guitar.
