I am a art teacher, a sculptor and a lover of music. I've been playing guitar since I was about 13 when all my friends played guitar. About 10 years ago I was getting real bored with my guitar playing and a friend stuck a mandolin in my hand and said try this. Wish I had started a lot earlier. Then I met a ukulele luthier in my neighborhood and he got me interested in building which has lead to a few vintage instrument restorations. I started out building the entire mandolin family based on the early 1900 Gibson mandolin family. I am presently finishing up a harp-mandolin.
