Yesterday morning, my cats got me up at 7:30 in the morning. No big deal, except that I didn't get to sleep until around 3:00 in the morning, so I wallowed through yesterday, got some practicing done..got to bed at my regular time..2am....at 4:30am, my cat, Smudge, decided it was time to play and woke me up. I got back to sleep and the dogs woke me up a little after 7am, and I couldn't get back to sleep...too tired all day to do any music....that is a rarity for me, but I have been zonked all day, and there was no way that I was going to be able to focus on much of anything for any amount of time. I really don't like days like this - the kind where you know things need to be done and you dread all of it..lol...I absolutely HAD to go to the grocery store today and managed to get that done...so the day wasn't a total loss, but every instrument has stayed in the closet today...first day in months that I haven't practiced anything, at all. I'm learning a new song on my mandolin.."Amelia's Waltz"...very simple and pretty...hope to get back to all of the music tomorrow.
