I hope this is the right place for this, I wanted to give a thanks to Tom at Saga. I have been looking for a mandolin, found a couple locally but had questions the owners couldn't answer. Sending a couple of pictures to Saga, Tom responded, giving me an idea where they were built, specifications and even an old catalog page with the instruments.
I was very impressed with how quick he responded and information provided.
Thanks again Tom and your partner that helped.!

Chuck,
Tom was also very helpful with me, so I am really jazzed to see your post. I don't want to hijack your thread, but just add my thanks to Tom as well and confirm what you said, that Tom at Saga Instruments is extremely helpful. I have a Kentucky KM1000 that I LOVE, but the end pin for the strap was too lose. I wrote Saga, Tom responded, and is working with me now to get a new end pin. I'm very impressed at Saga's customer service, and Tom in particular.
