Here are a few pictures of my 1993 Gibson F5 Custom. It was made in Bozeman, MT and signed by Steve Xarlson. It has a facrotu installed VIRZI. I just wanted to show it off.

Enjoy your new friend. I have an 88' F5L Mr. Carlson signed and am very fond of it. Cheers.. R/

Did it come with the armrest? Very nice.

Is that a calton case?
Gary Watkins - Posted - 03/10/2012: 10:42:01
That's a BOBELOCK Case. I put the arm-rest on it myself. I made this arm-rest. Here is another pictures with the back, showing the "tone-gard".
TSSN - Posted - 03/11/2012: 06:52:31
Nice work. I thought the armrest was a McClung.

Thats a bobelock arrow. I'm about to order one . Do you have any complaints about the case?
Gary Watkins - Posted - 03/11/2012: 15:37:56
The only complaint that I have had so far, everyone wants to try and trade me out of it, LOL!
mandolin boy - Posted - 03/11/2012: 15:51:05

Nice looking mando, Gary. I'll bet she chops well, too. Those Carlson-signed mandolins are banjo killers.

Thanks Fredrick. I really love the tone that the VIRZI makes on this Gibson.

Can't wait to meet you, Gary. I'll bet that mandolin sounds incredible.
