My days of Strat playing are long past. I'm looking to upgrade my mandolin, too. I have a '97 American Standard, candy-apple red. Great shape. It's been out of the case maybe 3 times in the last 5 years. I have a beat Flatiron SB-1. I'm looking for something that's a step up from that, in an oval hole model of some kind. Any suggestions or interest?
