Just sitting here picking some mandolin and sipping tea as I watch the nice snow fall here in the deep South!

Snow in the South

Looks like my yard here in Easley ,SC. I would guess from looking at objects on the lawn and how they are covered that we have at least 10" and it is still coming down. It is the most we have had since 1988.

Got a special offer from Ison's Nursery in Georgia advertising "snow muscadines" at 20% off...with a picture of the vines in covered with snow. I'm pickin' a personal, no audience, concert in a t-shirt with the sun shining brightly here in the Florida Keys. When it is chilly here, I think of what it must be like farther north and switch to a minor key. ;-/

No snow in West Texas and probably won't have any - usually passes us right by. So far, it's just cool, not cold, but the front isn't supposed to hit here until this evening. Even then, it'll be cold and dry, dry, dry. No measureable precipitation for over 100 days now.

Ontario Canada is bright and sunny, but very cold. We are always happy when it isn't snowing.

I'm jealous... The deep South is much closer to the Equator than southern Spain (where I live) and you Southerners have snow and we don't :(

I wish I was in the deep South...

We just had about 2 feet dropped on us on Saturday/Sunday, about 0F right now and heading to -26F by the end of the week, that's out here in Edmonton Alberta. And up here the snow will stay to April at worst.

Not sure where in the "deep South" you are, but that's a fair bit of snow for y'all.

Here in northern Minnesota, we're used to that. The recent snow storms have (mostly) passed south of us here, although we did get 7 or 8 inches a few days ago (accompanied by gale force winds off of Lake Superior). Now all we have here is the cold.

Here we're cold, but we haven't seen snow not even in the mountains... :'(
