Anyone know about Music Moose, the You Tube is from them but I couldn't find it or any other mando stuff on their site. There is some other good theory stuff though.

The Jesse McRenlods DVD on Homespun will keep you busy for a while.

The Jesse Mcreynolds video is too fast, I need to see something slower so I can the feel of it when I try it out, I have that DVD, there must someone some where that can give a good lesson at a slower pace... Dennis in AZ

That FoTW link has some very good info, though the only pattern he shows that I would call "cross picking" is the reverse alternate, down up up, which I use quite a bit on slower numbers. I use it on guitar as well. This can be modified to mimic Scruggs banjo rolls in a 1-2-3,1-2-3,1-2 eight note pattern.

I have seen others use a down up down pattern which has never worked for me.
