Measure your existing post spacing and bushing size before making a selection. The folks over on Mandolin Cafe will likely be able to tell you the size needed for your Kentucky km 606. I see from the web that you need F style tuners. Grover, Gotoh, Schaller, Rubner, and Waverly would all be an upgrade.

from the web,
"The Kentucky KM-606 typically uses Saga’s proprietary in-house tuning machines. Saga instruments often feature non-standard post spacings or distinct "worm-over" vs. "worm-under" gear configurations. Before purchasing any replacement, you must measure your mandolin’s post center-to-post center distance to see if it matches the standard 0.906-inch (23.01mm) spacing"

thanks :)

Hi, , , Just out of curiosity, is there anything about the tuners on the 606 that you don't like?
I realize that, for an F, they're using I guess what you'd call a 'worm over'(like an A style), and is it because you want the traditional 'worm under' F Style on it?
I was looking at it, as a possible next mando, but then saw the KM-206, which seems to be the A version of the KM-606, and since I have a decent F(nothing special, Loar 590) I'm now looking at the KM-206.

The Km 606 ... I love it ...nice woody tone , projects well...I put a kk mando twin internal and its great for gigs etc ...the tuners : on my particular one the low G will slip a bit but its by no means a show stopper or a real PITA im just a bit fussy ... plus I would like some fancier buttons ...thats it

hope that helps
