Hi All, I'm mostly a banjo and bass player and I'd like to get going with the mandolin. Any suggestions for free online lessons to get me going? Thanks, Jim

Hello there. I would say Bardley Laird would be a great place to start. Free content and paid content too.

There's tons of resources out there for free lessons. mandolessons.com comes to mind as a good one. Also, forums like Mando Hangout are great resources too :) Plus going to festivals / jams are great - some many not be free, but you can get a hell of an education at those!

I also post free lessons 2x a week on my site here if you are interested mattcbruno.com/weekly-posts/

I just added this post on Salt Creek mattcbruno.com/2022/06/23/song...lt-creek/

Also here's one for Major chord positions (this is part of a series on chords) mattcbruno.com/2022/06/20/chor...r-shapes/
