More About Me

I taught mandolin and clawhammer banjo classes at Centre College until retiring in 2013. I am now teaching in my home in Summerville, SC. All of my classes are set up
for first time players. I begin with the basics and build from there. No music reading skills are needed but you will be learning by ear. You will be learning old fiddle tunes, ballads and mountain songs. Songs about events in history and various movements that happened in our country.
