More About Me

I've been playing mandolin since 1976 after I went to Winfield for the first time and was inspired by the playing of Sam Bush and Norman Blake. Around 1980 I was exposed to Irish music and been playing in Irish bands ever since. I teach students to play by ear with some help of musical notation. And I teach Irish, French Canadian and Appalachian String Band music on mandolin and fiddle. You can check out my UTube channel under David Agee where we have some videos posted.
