More About Me

I give lessons at Kentucky Music on Russelville Rd. I've played mandolin for several years, but have put in a lot of time. I've learned a lot of Ricky Skaggs, and Sam Bush instrumentals and solos note for note. I've also learned instrumentals and solos of Sierra Hull, Grisman, and Frank Solivan. I can help you get started playing fiddle tunes, bluegrass standards, improvising, composing, arranging, and learning by ear. I'll teach you my process and help you learn tunes you want to learn or help you figure out things already in my repertoire.
