Players Union membership is paid on an annual basis, and each time you renew, you get the shirt for the year your membership would have expired had you not renewed (assuming you don't choose the "Membership with no shirt" option).
You can purchase Players Union membership for up to 2 years into the future.
Examples:
- The date is Oct 12th, 2009. Your membership is paid thru November 10th, 2009. If you renew your membership, you will be shipped the 2009 shirt.
- The date is Oct 12th, 2009. Your membership is paid thru February 10th, 2010. If you renew your membership, you will be shipped the 2010 shirt.
- The date is Oct 12th, 2009. Your membership is paid thru Oct 13th, 2011. You will be unable to renew, since your membership expires more than 2 years in the future.
