I play the ~1930 Kay mandolin while Don sings and plays a modern Simon & Patrick parlor guitar. The Kay mandolin sounds ruggedly beautiful (which is also how I would describe its looks). This is our Americanized version of the song that we originally heard from Ronnie Drew of the Dubliners.
