I played mandolin and sang with the band Cedar Hill for 26 years beginning in 1983. There is some confusion because there is also another band (who used to call themselves Cedar Hill GRASS) named Cedar Hill, but in the pre-internet days it was not an issue. This is the Cedar Hill band based in Atlanta... still going strong today, though I have moved on a few years ago. The players are Jim Adkins banjo and duck voice, Bob MacIsaac guitar, Fred MacIsaac bass, David Ellis dobro / fiddle and Brad Laird (me) mandolin. This was recorded live at the Douglass Theater in Macon Georgia 4-11-08.
