From NC State moved to Ohio in 1955.Got cought moonshining & had to move. Got to Ohio and became a Police Officer (No kidding). Played Professionally years ago with Hylo Brown, Mac Wiseman,Wood Bros. & a few more.Been a week end worrior with my family band "Family Pride"playing grass for about 20yrs now.Fronted two other bands yrs. ago "Black Mt. Ramblers & "Dixie Mountaineers". Still at it mostly on Banjo with my group now .
