My list of favorite bands change quite frequently, but my favorite band is Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver. My favorite mandolin players are Doyle Lawson (obviously), Bill Monroe, Dean Webb, C.J. Lewandowski, Dempsey Young, Ronnie McCoury, Chris Thile and way too many others to mention here.

After years of dabbling with other acoustic instruments, I realized at the age of 15 that my main musical passion rested with the mandolin. I was born with Cerebral Palsy, which mostly affects my legs, but it does affect my playing a little bit due to the fact I have trouble using certain fingers on my noting hand. Fortunately, I'm able to make do with what I have and I'm also blessed to be surrounded by people who understand my physical challenges. I'm also a lefty, but I play right-handed instruments upside down. I've played with a few different bands in my area and have even recorded one album with one of them. I currently have my own band, Braeden Paul & Wheel Hoss. We play Traditional Bluegrass and have a lot of fun! Whenever I'm not playing music I book different national touring bluegrass acts on the road through my own business, B. Paul Entertainment.
