I just wanted to salute you all. Im a 31 years old new mandolin player from Spain. (First of all, sorry for my english)
I've been playing the guitar for almost 15 years, but I recently bought a mandolin in a "used stuff website" and I'm obsessed with it, what an amazing instrument to play!
I hope to find help here in your forum and to be in touch with mandolin players.
So... nice to be here! See you guys.

Welcome to the Hangout.
Nothing wrong with your English at all.
Enjoy your mandolin. I remember when I first got mine, I couldn't put it down, let everything else wait while I picked on it. Eventually, you get to the point where you aren't so obsessed, but it may take a while.

Hmm, this is a piece of cake for him since he's just playing the notes as written.
