This vintage song was 1st put out by The Louvin Brothers in 1958, written by Hazel Houser. There are some good mandolin parts in the song & it keeps playing in my head as a "duet", using twin mandolin or double stops. I am such an amateur player, but I can just hear the harmony in this song "in my head".
The version I currently have is by Rodney Crowell & Emmylou Harris. I do have TablEdit, but haven't used it very much but can certainly print it or edit it some.
I would love to have the tab for this song along with the harmony part for it. I need to work on double stop harmony so that would be excellent.
I could then print the 2 parts to have it for another player. I have 2 mandolins with the hopes to someday run across someone who wants to learn mando or jam with me on such things.
I live in a tiny town of 800 people in Indiana, have not yet found anyone who plays music to jam with.

Have you had any luck finding/developing the tab?
Also, what key were you thinking? Looks like the original was in C.

@TSSN - No luck so far. G or A would be good. Easier in A since fiddle is easiest for me in A & same as my mandolin. However, I sing a lot of songs (only to myself LOL) in G using guitar. I can transpose it no matter what key you put it in with TablEdit. Since it seems to be in C on the original, it would probably be easiest (per entry by ear) to enter.

I would try it, but I'm not really good with TablEdit as yet.

I put it in the tab library, changed key from E to A to get it to lay out better on the mando.

Thank you so much! It looks great! I am trying to get a print up of it, but when I do it is 2 pages of real tiny format.....working on all those issues in TablEdit. I will get that part figured out.

Why is it when I pull this up in the tab library, then request a TablEdit version it shows like this in print preview & in the actual printing?

If I request a PDF version, it shows correctly & prints correctly. However, I can't get the other instruments to show up except in TablEdit on screen, but the tiny print version when trying to print the different instruments screens in print preview.

Thank you, I know I have a lot to learn about TablEdit. But if I could speak to someone one on one, it would help me with a lot of issues with these problems.
I went to the TablEdit website, signed into Groups, but can't as yet find any help with this. I have previously downloaded tab from Mando Hangout, Banjo Hangout and Flatpickers Hangout. I don't recall ever having this problem before. The only way it prints 1 page is if I do a PDF download instead of Tef. I feel it is a setting or maybe I have a different version than the one it was input with in TablEdit. I would like to be able to print each separate instrument on one page each. With the Tef format I can edit, just the printing is a problem. THE TAB ITSELF IS WONDERFUL & SOUNDS PERFECT.
So thanks for your suggestion...I did look at that, but can't figure out yet what the problem is.
