Okay, so i've tried three times over the past month trying to find out from somebody, ANYBODY, what I'm going to need to know to renew my Classified Ad before it's due to expire on November 7th. Maybe I contacted the wrong folks but I've NOT heard back from anyone so far and I worry that the classified will have to be totally re written if I miss the date.IF YOU CAN TELL ME OR FORWARD ME THE STEPS I'LL NEED TO TAKE THE DAY BEFORE (THE 6TH) I WILL BE EXTREMELY HAPPY!. Hello Alan.

I have not written an ad for the Classifieds here, so I doubt I can help directly.  Have you written to Eric Schlange, the Hangout owner?

I have written to him recently about the level of spam showing up here on MHO, and there has been some improvement.  My guess is that BHO takes up much of his time.  Judging by the traffic on this board, I doubt MHO is a top priority.

As I remember, when my ad expired I got an automatically generated email that informed me. I can't remember exactly, but I simply hit a link that reposted the ad. As I remember (again), it was quite easy.

It's quite easy - just click the page to edit your ad.

Then at the top, there's a link to extend your ad's featured status.

I have emailed Eric REPEATEDLY over the past several weeks and heard nothing back. Thats why I posted here. I am concerned. An ad I posted back in April expired without any notice. If I can't get an an answer and it expires again without the ability to renew then I guess it'll be the Hangout's LOSS cuz I make awesome straps that ship all over the world and it would havebeen nice to let the folks who visit this site see them. mandolinstrapsofmontana.com
