I have an opportunity to buy a used mandolin. It’s a flatiron master model signed by Bruce Weber. Purchased new in mid to late 80’s. It’s in great condition. Anyone know what something like this might be worth?

The builder, Bruce Weber, is a member of the Mandolin Hangout...
He posts instruments he has for sale...
He'd be the guy to ask, is my guess...
If it's Bruce who's selling it, I would just Google that mandolin and model and see if there are any out there being sold or that have been sold.
An asking price is one thing, but a 'sold for' price is the true hall mark for what the instrument can sell for...
It would be interesting to compare the original M.S.R.P. against the current asking price and also against any that have sold recently...
Bruce is known for his fine instruments...
I used to work in a music store in St. Louis that sold Weber mandolins...
Top drawer all the way...
A friend of mine bought a Yellowstone...
Mandolin envy almost killed me!
