I think Mr. Burns had a few two point mandolins.
As I understand it Sam Bush does have at least one of Jethro's mandolins and he also has his two-point mandolin tie. Probably not from 1959 as it has f-holes. It is an electric mando. Here's the facts straight from the Hoss's mouth, so to speak.

Then there is this one.
There is another two point that Jethro owned that is part of the County Music Foundations collection. It is a 1959 model. I don't know the serial number. That one is known as "Old Red". It is a two point oval hole instrument. I would think the CMF could provide you with the serial number if you ask them nicely.
