I am a musician and have a collection of instruments that also include mandolins which belonged to my late husband. I have a handmade mandolin which he purchased around 2013 and was built in 2011 by Kevin Mathers. I'm thinking of selling, and wondered both what interest there might be in the instrument, as well as what might be a fair price? I attempted to contact Kevin Mathers via e-mail several years ago, but did not receive a response, and not sure he is still building? The craftsmanship is stellar, the instrument was professionally set-up by Robt. Steinegger of Portland, and it is in excellent condition. I do not have a hardshell case that it fits into, as the headstock is slightly exaggerated, making it slightly longer than a standard "F" model, (tho scale length is the same). It does fit into a gig bag. I am posting a few pictures to start with, and would gladly post more, or answer any questions (to the best of my guitar-player ability) upon request. Thanks!

That is a gorgeous mandolin!
You might try Googling Mathers mandolins to see if any are for sale anywhere else and what kind of prices they are drawing...
