Here is a leather case I just finished making. It is lined with upholstered foam and has a shoulder strap. I waterproofed it with mink oil.

Beautiful, looks like that was a lot of work! I made my case out of Sunbrella with foam padding and a soft fleece interior. Nice looking workshop.
