Hi everyone!
I recently got a hold of this beautiful instrument and I'm trying to find any information I can on it. The person who sold it to me claimed that it was made in Norway but I think that was only a guess from his part. I havn't found anyting like this through my own research so now I'm hoping that I might find some answers here. The craftsmanship is increadible so I think that I might have found something really special. Any info would be much appreciated!

Tom Thompson, the Canadian landscape painter, played a twelve string mandolin with three string courses, but the courses were strung in unisons. This mandolin now resides in the Tom Thompson Museum in Owen Sound, Ontario.
I own a Regal tiple, which has 4 courses, tuned like a steel string ukulele. The outside courses have 2 strings and the inside have 3 strings.
It's tuned gG-cCc-eEe-AA. Here it is beside a concert uke for size comparison.
