Breedlove does not make Weber mandolins. Weber makes Weber mandolins. They are owned by the same company (Two Old Hippies) but they are individual companies in the products that they build.
Actually, it was just announced by Two Old Hippies yesterday that Breedlove will not be manufacturing any mandolins anymore. They are going to be outsourcing all of their mandolin production to China starting in 2016.

Actually, I have been playing a A-style Breedlove Quartz OF # 9645 for five years. It was built in 2007, before Kim Breedlove had ramped up production, and it has a lovely sound and action. Essentially, these early Breedloves were bench-built. I am selling the instrument now for other reasons. Sound and performance are not in question. The instrument is excellent for Irish and newgrass. With the news that Kim Breedlove mandos will no longer be available, this mandolin will become rare, I would think.

I have two Breedlove mandolins and they're great. They have great tone, they're easy to play and the workmanship is impeccable.
