Is there much difference between the Kentucky KM 505 & the KM 550? I'm leaning towards the KM505.

I'm not sure on the Kentucky models but rest assured someone here will. I play a morgan monroe which I like very much but I recently played a couple of tanglewoods that I liked. I know that doesn't help your question. I would google and read up. I've owned a Kentucky and they seem like fine mandos. Happy pickin..

I have a KM-505, and when I was researching it I looked up the specs of both. From what I can remember the difference was entirely cosmetic, with the KM-550 having more highly figured wood.
Having said that, Saga don't seem to list the 550 on their web site any more, which was where I did my research. The specs of the KM-505 are here
I am sure Saga would tell you the difference if you contact them through their Facebook page. They were very helpful and quick when I made an enquiry through their Facebook page.
