Can't find serial or manufacturer. Any help greatly appreciated. It has six tuning knobs. Photos are in my saved profile pics.

From what I can see of the photographs, the instrument looks heavily ornamented with "mother of pearl". The scroll also looks rather "loose" to me. This, and the level of decoration is common in Vietnamese made instruments. I would investigate makers such as "Antonio Tsai" or "Inlaid Artist" both of whom have in the past sold their mandolins on eBay.
I have no first hand experience of these makers, but some people have reported problems with the structural integrity of the instruments, possibly caused by poorly seasoned wood, although others have been happy with them.
