So I was gifted a old Merano mandolin with the serial number/model number of m75 I believe, but it has faded so it could even be 1175. Anyways I can't find Any information about it or Merano making mandolins. Everyone says Merano doesn't make mandolins so I am confused as to why the have one. It is a old bowl mandolin with wood inlay floral carvings. I know it's old because it was my great grandfathers. I have heard it's worth 30 dollars or hundreds since its vintage. I would appreciate any answers or history I can get!

I tried that website and emailed them, I also googled it but still show no information about them.
