Here's a new mandolin video lesson I just completed.
It's the traditional tune Turkey In The Straw. I wrote this up to help my beginning students work on their pick direction. I thought I'd throw it up here as well in case any mando hangout members could benefit from it. I break down the tune note for note and then give some variations on both parts and some tips for backup.

Looks good to me Mike!
The video is clear and the explanation of what you are doing makes sense. My only thought is that it seems a little 'dry' in its presentation. Perhaps this in intentional as its purpose is to teach, but I notice that this is part of a full 'paid for' lesson, so I am only seeing part of the full video, and maybe it just seems 'dry' when taken out of context.
