I cannot find a link to "Report to Moderator" or a direct way to indicate a problem with ads in the classifieds. The reason I bring this up, or that I am asking (depending on perspective), is because there are currently two ads for phones in the classifieds that have now been there for over a week. They very clearly do not belong there, even though they have been posted by "members" of the site.

The "Report To Moderator" link is at the upper left corner of each ad. You have to click on the ad first then look at the upper left. Good luck getting a response. I've sent messages to the Moderator twice, with no result whatsoever. I sometimes wonder if anyone really monitors this site. The classifieds always has ads that are against the site rules and nothing is done about it.

Even when having the actual ad open, I still do not see that link.

What everyone has failed to mention, including me, is that you have to be logged in or else the "Report To Moderator" does not show up at all. When you are logged in, it will show up on the upper right of each post or if you are in the classifieds, it will be in the upper left directly under the ad description.

As I said, you have to be logged in. When you are logged in and viewing the ad, it will be just under the ad description. That way you are reporting that particular ad to the moderator. See screen shot below.

How interesting. I've taken a screenshot of the same ad, as well......and there is no link. With my screenshot, I took it all the way over to where you can see on the right hand side that I am, indeed, logged in.
*Cue up the Twilight Zone!

That's really interesting. I noticed that when I wasn't logged in the "Report" link wasn't there, but appeared after I logged in. I am working from a Mac. I wonder if that makes a difference. Do you see it in the Forum posts? There should be one at the upper right of each post next to the "Like" button. But it makes sense to have one on the actual page you want to report.

I'm on a mac, as well...so I don't think that is it. And I do not see it in the other forum posts. One of my original thoughts was that you had to be a Players Union member, but that does not appear to be the case, either.

I could simply PM or email Eric directly (as has been already noted), but where is the fun in that? Don't we want the instantaneous gratification of simply clicking a link?!? haha! The wacky thing with this is that for all of the time and effort that has been put in on this thread, it would probably not amount to anywhere near the total time from here on out that would be used by contacting Eric directly for such posts that "I" personally would have enough care or concern to actually do something about to begin with! The irony in this is not lost on me...

And I don't even have a mandolin to begin with yet!!

Glad to have that figured out...I was debating on whether or not it might have been caused by not having an avatar picture!!
