I'm looking for any sources that are good for building backup skills beyond basic chopping. I primarily play bluegrass and old time. I really like Sam Bush's rhythm, but reviews for his rhythm dvd aren't very good. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Don't discount Youtube, I've found some great ideas I can intertwine with what I do. Dawg dosen't always chop, neither did Jethro Burns.

m: I'll say he was, I have a couple of turorial things of his. I love his two finger chord/ rapid fire single string melodies... glad we got to experience his playing and humor!
