Hello,



Information:  Banjo Mandolin 8 string with design on resonator back and on side of banjo.  Center hex head screw keeps resonator on.  W.M.P. PAT. PEND marked on a metal piece near the neck inside, and a B in pencil only markings I found when I took the resonator off.  No other markings I could see.  Did take mirror try to look on the other side of post, saw no markings

Did you just acquire that from eBay?  I swear I saw one of those not too long ago, but now I am thinking that it might have been on eBay.

I have a Ludwig tenor banjo (circa 1930ish) that has the same or very similar resonator and neck mounting bracket.  There is a similar one at elderly.com/vintage/items/80U-2669.htm.

From what I've seen, it looks like a Rydal that was most likely made by the Stromberg Voisinet Co.
