Hey,
Anybody know how many harmonics are doable on the frets of the mandolin? I know there is the 12th fret, and the 10th fret, but I am still wrestling with the 10th.... all I can get out of it is a pickish sounding noise. ):

You're welcome. It is a string length physical relationship " thing " ....... it occurs at 1/2 , 1/3 and 1/4 of the length of the string. If you are curious about the science ..... check out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonics ...... it is a good nutshell article /explanation. R/
