LESS THAN TWO WEEKS until the Break-Through Acoustic Workshop in Rochester, PA!!! If you are coming, PLEASE reserve your place! I have had several say they were coming, but have not yet reserved!
In this combined workshop we will cover, surviving and thriving in a jam, keeping time, understanding chords and keys, anticipating chords, jam etiquette, how to play through chords you might not know, and much, much more. We will also teach how to play by ear using simple techniques, and opening up a new world of playing! This allows you to pick out tunes, which can become second nature, writing your own tunes without reading or understanding a note of music, and playing freely. I teach and play banjo, hammered and mountain dulcimer, mandolin, guitar, irish pennywhistle and more...NOT because I am talented, but because I have learned to play by ear. Leaning this technique, will allow you to pick up virtually any instrument and pick out tunes. It will open your repertoire of tunes and even instruments! Don't let this workshop pass you by! This is a hands-on workshop open to all acoustic instruments.
