This looks exactly like a mandolin that my grandpa has owned for years now. I would assume this is just a typical Asian import from the '70s. These mandolins really aren't that great and they do need a lot of work done on them to make it sound good and play easy. Even though BB King is associated with this product I still would not have been tempted by it.
