I inherited this Mandolin from my Grandmother and it does not have any identification on it to indicate the manufacturer, model or year.
Any help would greatly be appreciated. To see more pictures, I have them on my website at dreamjourney.net as well as pictures of a 1918 Gibson Style A, serial # 11114.
Thanks.

Looks Chicago made, early twentieth century. Possibly a Lyon and Healey. Does it look like there was ever a label? L&H were pretty good a labeling their own instruments but I think many were made "for the trade" to be sold by others as "their brand" and were therefore unlabeled when the left the factory. Run that one by on the "Cafe"--- a fellow named Jim Garber really knows old bowlbacked mandolins.
