Witch picks do you all use? I keep going back and forth with bluechip tpr50 and bluechip sr50, Although I do like ts. What do you use :o

A variety of picks- I use a sharkfin pick 1.07 mm that I like a lot cause it's like having multiple picks in one,and I also use a Clayton 1.20 mm and there's other heavy picks I use as I like their feel & color,tho there's no mm marking on em. I did have one made from an old coin but it vanished somewhere.

And.....I forgot to mention I do use thumbpicks and an F-1 pick in Medium. Shows what I get for posting on 1 cup o coffee. Now on #2.

I go back and forth between a custom-made Wegen TF-180 1.8mm without a bevel and a 346 shape Fender extra heavy (1.21mm).  The Wegen has a slightly warmer and thicker tone, but the Fender is slightly louder (and has a better grip).

BC CT-55 on mando TP-60 on acoustic guitar to help save the tortise population . . . I like Tortex orange, .65 maybe, on solid body instruments.

I use a medium Fender tricorner celluloid pick for guitars, OM, mandolin and tenor banjo.

I use a papas pick, not sure of the thickness, but its thick and has a beveled edge as well as an imprint so my thumb fits perfectly...it was expensive though!

Papas picks aren't that bad, price-wise.  I sell them for $12.  Maybe kind of high when compared to cheap picks, but quite a bit less than some others out there. Folks must like them, because I get a lot of repeat business.  By the way, these are casein picks, which offer a very tortoise-like sound.  They look a lot like tortoise too.  They also come in a variety of thicknesses.

I don't them on either of our websites yet, so just pm me if you might want to try one.  I'll include a celluloid RedLine Acoustics pick free with every Papas pick ordered!
