Hey
I'v got this old instument. Don't know if it's a mandolin or mandola. Does any of you know which brand or maker it is by the initials at the headstock?
Best regards from Denmark
Henrik

What is the scale length (distance from nut to bridge)? A mandolin is usually between 13 and 14 inches. Any longer and it's probably a mandola.

Thanx for your replies.
I have just checked the scale length and it is 13 inches so I guess that makes it a mandolin
