Hi everyone,
I'm a banjo player from the Banjo Hangout, but was just given my late grandfather's Mellor Mandolin - a bowl-backed (I'm guessing) 1920s model. In terrible shape, in need of TLC, rotting case, etc. Anyone know anything about this mandolin company? Google isn't telling me much, so they must be defunct and also not very well known.
I'll upload photos this weekend, though it looks a lot like a bowl backed mando that someone else posted here for info.
Thanks!
