Seen this seller on eBay and love the look of his mandolins. I'm not accustomed to buying instruments without playing them first. Has anyone bought from this seller, and if so what do you have to say about his mandolins?

There is something "off" about the shape of the F style mandolins.

He's a regular on eBay. From Taiwan. He does very elaborate inlay work but his instrument quality is very questionable. I have heard from a few on Mandolin Cafe that the mandolins were junk. Personally, I would stay away from him, but it's your money.

They are almost universally considered to be wall hangers only.

I will give you a detailed explanation later. I bought one on a whim and because it was really cheap closing on ebay with no bids. The long and the short of it though is, save your money unless what your looking for is a forgazy and not a mandolin. The packaging was incredible though!

Thanks for the advice guys...definitely don't need to spend any money on wall hangings at this point.
