Hi all!
I've just bought an octave mandolin and it's 100% acoustic, but I'd like to amplify it for my gigs.
Do you recommend me any pick-up?
I currently have a Dean Markley Artist Transducer pick-up that I use for my dulcimer.

I bought one of these for my Trinity College octave mando, the pro-level model which includes the on-board volume control. You will need a pre-amp, unless you are plugging it into an amp with built in pre-amp for passive pickups.
It works well and is specifically designed for larger mando-family instruments. Although honestly I haven't been playing the instrument for awhile...
